What We're All About

About

We are a small group of Sixth Form students from St Christopher's School in Bahrain, with the aim of helping the planet.

This project was initially developed to be a part of the Global Social Leaders competition, to tackle the Sustainability goals of climate change and responsible consumption. However, after the competition ended, the team decided to continue the project as a result of great support from a thriving community.

Now, Bee Thrifty is a project that brings us great joy. We love the positive impact we have on our planet, and being an inspiration to younger peers for projects of their own.

We hope you'll join us in Bee-ing Thrifty.

proceeds

Not only is Bee Thrifty a zero waste website, we are also proud to declare that 100% of our earnings from sales and donations are given to charity.

We have supported BARC, the Bahrain Animal Rescue Centre, in helping pay off their vet bills for sick animals.

We've attended live events where we have set up a stall, such as the winter fair in St Christopher's School, and a local thrifting event, after which our money was then donated.
